Troutdale Citizen of the Year Nomination
Nominations will be accepted through June 31st, 2020.
Purpose of this Award: To recognize and encourage individuals who have contributed in a special way to the community of Troutdale, and to thank those people through public recognition during the SummerFest celebration.
- The Citizen of the Year must be a resident of Troutdale.
- Nominees may not be elected officials, nor board members or staff of the West Columbia Gorge Chamber of Commerce.
- Community service must be outside their paid employment.
- Nominees for Citizen of the Year must be 19 years of age or older as of July 11th, 2020.
The SummerFest Committee will select the Citizen of the Year from nominations received from the community.
The Citizen of the Year will receive a certificate, participate in the SummerFest Parade, and be introduced to the public at Glenn Otto Park; their cause(s) will be promoted through local media.
The SummerFest Committee will contact the selected winner before SummerFest, to ensure the winner’s willingness to receive these honors and to participate in these events.
